Welcome to The Hyndburn Comets Majorettes
At the Hyndburn Comets Majorettes, our passion is entertainment and competing. We are a locally registered charity (1063543) who provide a dancing hobby for children and adults aged from 3 years up to currently 40 years old. These also include some members with vulnerabilities, mental health problems, learning difficulties or physical disabilities. We help to teach the members about commitment, self-motivation and team work as well as allowing them to participate in carnivals and competitions throughout the summer while training weekly during the winter months.
We are always looking for more members, new or old.
We are a fantastic dance group in Accrington
At the Hyndburn Comets Majorettes, we believe in providing the local community with a fun and enjoyable hobby. We also support local charities and provide funding when possible. We really want to build and continue attending competitions in 2026.

We train currently at the Hyndburn Community & Voluntary Resource Centre on Cannon Street in Accrington, BB5 2ER.

Babies train on Saturdays 9am-10am
Tinies train on Mondays 6pm-7.30pm & Saturdays 10am-12pm
Juniors train on Saturdays 12pm-2pm
Seniors train on Thursdays 6.30pm-8.30pm.
We believe we are a big family teaching core values and life skills and watching how the members make new friendships and bonds. It really is a hobby the members are passionate about. They are committed to perform and dance their hearts out to the new routines for that year.
